VIKI KNOWS is involved in the European MICROINV project, together with the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca

The VIKI Knows team will use their knowledge, experience and resources in a research project, in partnership with the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (UTCN). The project “Management of electricity in a network with renewable sources”, proposed by UTCN and supported by the European Regional Development Fund, will be carried out for 36 months and will include research into the development of energy management algorithms for system efficiency, respectively the maximization of energy consumption from renewable sources.
Specifically, the VIKI Knows team will participate in the project with industrial research activities.

The objective of the project is to intensify the collaboration between the UTCN and the companies in the private environment that have something to say in an area of major importance such as the efficiency of energy conversion systems from renewable sources.
This project aims to increase the productivity and competitiveness of the companies involved, through activities of industrial research and / or experimental development of new products, innovative for and in collaboration with companies that have commercial activity related to the production, development and commercialization of electronic equipment used in efficient conversion of energy from renewable sources.

The information contribution of the companies with experience in the technological transfer is also pursued through the fruition of the research infrastructure developed through the investment programs carried out in recent years within the UTCN.
The project is co-financed from the European Regional Development Fund through the Operational Program Competitiveness 2014-2020.
